Fall Prevention
One out of three adults age 65 and older fall each year. The aging population of baby boomers are now choosing to retire at home for reasons such as more freedom, independence, safety, and a better since of community which is why it is important to protect this growing community by making sure they are safe at home. Many seniors who fall are never able to go home again and may be wheelchair bound for the remainder of their life. If homes are properly modified for elderly needs then it can be great alternative for our aging population. There are organzations that can help access fall risk prevention and home care agencies that can help assist the elderly and keep them safe.
